FOUNDER / CREATOR / ARTIST

MEGG, Meghan Mahowald, has been performing on stage since she was 6, attended the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts with a major in Voice and a minor in Musical Theatre, received her Bachelor’s of Music in Popular Music Performance through the Thornton School of Music as 1 of 5 vocalists accepted into the program from the University of Southern California. Since graduation, she’s been touring up and down the West Coast as well as parts of London and Nashville, releasing music under her artist name MEGG, appeared on NBC’s The Voice and teaches private voice and piano lessons. She recently released her newest single, “On My Shoulders” following the release of her EP, Here For Now and signed a Publishing Deal with Reel Muzik Werks last year. Born and raised in Redondo Beach, MEGG is no stranger to the local music scene. She has opened for Tomorrow’s Bad Seeds, Hot Water Music and The Used…to name a few. As a frequent performer at our local venues, she feels passionate about bringing the diverse music scenes the South Bay has to offer under one roof to support a local cause near and dear to her heart. MEGG has always felt a call to community and as it’s no secret how she feels about the South Bay, she is stoked to share this event for the third time as something to come together for: music and a good cause!
